JOB SUMMARY

The Project Leader, Digital Specialist (PL DS) reports to the Senior Project Leader (SPL)/Associate Director of Project Leadership, Digital Specialist (ADPL DS). In this role they will be a key internal and client team leader, with shared responsibility for one or several different client teams/partnerships.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Demonstrate the mission, vision, values and cultural principles of Blue Chip/Continuum Clinical
  • Produce efficient project plans; effectively manage workload and keep production on time and within budget
  • Assigned to a primary team by the Director of Project Leadership (DPL)/Associate Director of Project Leadership (ADPL): based on availability and expertise/capability, responsibilities may go beyond a single specific client or client team
  • Manage details of large Integrated campaigns/projects, or smaller more tactical assignments
  • On more complicated Campaigns, the PL may report into the Senior Project Leader (SPL) who will act as “lead”, delegating and directing execution of specific parts of the Project to deliver the full program
  • Provide direction to APL to build out the campaign/projects and estimates in the project management system, or perform these functions directly as needed.
  • Manage any/all aspects of digital deliverable(s) per project, including: websites, landing pages, paid media ads, search, social, promotional, emails, digital coupons, etc.
  • Lead vendor kick offs to gather requirements, specs and timelines for deliverables
  • Traffic final files for media placement with vendors
  • Maintain relationships with external vendors and media partners
  • Review and work with the digital strategists/analysts to ensure we're maintaining campaign performance and optimizing as needed
  • Enter Jira tickets and confluence updates for the web production team and follow through completion
  • Attend daily digital stand up meetings to ensure digital projects are moving along
  • Gather digital team's questions and needs and work with Business Leader and client to provide and obtain clarity for all
  • Maintain visibility on changing digital landscape, trends, innovation, etc.
  • Act as key agency communication hub with internal team(s) and on external client communication driving for full clarity as needed during the five (5) basic phases of the project life cycle:
    • Planning
    • Initiation
    • Development, Review and Approval
    • Activation/Execution
    • Financial reconciliation and audit
  • Responsible for helping to develop elements of project specific work by collaborating with cross-functional team. Roles and responsibilities include the following:
    • Resource manager (capacity and utilization): Creates resourcing plan based on assigning the proper resources to tasks/projects. PL will incorporate this direction in system/team setup
    • Production: Incorporates production-specific timing, necessary assets, production specs, and timing information into the project. PL will capture these details in the system/make team aware as needed
  • Maintain System integrity and reporting, recommending alterations as necessary per client need
  • Archive project milestone history as deemed necessary
  • Ensure all projects are flawlessly executed and stay within established timelines and budgets
  • Alert SPL if client or agency actions/requests stray beyond scope of work, and help engage in contingency planning to recommend solutions
  • Responsible for maintaining project leadership system integrity and reporting
  • Set and Schedule internal project-specific meetings and lead all internal status meeting(s)
  • Keep SPL aware of issues relating to each assignment and the deployment of the process, raising concerns and identifying solutions when needed
  • Responsible for maintaining up-to-date daily time tracking, per the agency’s time tracking policy

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred
  • 2-5 years of advertising agency/marketing experience
  • Proven work experience as a digital project leader/manager
  • Must have previous experience working with digital teams and programs
  • Experience working with project management tools like MS Office Suite, SmartSheet, and Jira a plus
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum projects
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems, tagging, SEO and Google Analytics
