Scripps Networks Interactive is currently seeking a Digital Sales Planner to join our Chicago team.  This position will support digital sales across all Scripps Networks Interactive categories. A successful candidate will be motivated to move forward in their sales career with a strong interest in a digital ad sales.

 

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop sales presentations and media plans based on clients' marketing goals
  • Interface with key stake holders including agencies, other sales offices, Marketing, Research, and Creative Services departments
  • Fulfill RFP and manage inventory by creating media plans that can deliver and meet client's advertising goals
  • Work closely with clients and Scripps Creative Service/Production teams to fulfill custom creative projects

 

Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 years interactive sales planning or advertising agency buying/planning
  • Bachelor Degree

 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT:

  • Must be able and willing to work overtime when necessary

STRONGLY DESIRED:

  • Professional proficiency in Internet research tools, planning tools and metrics
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects through strategic sales methods and effective communication skills
  • Knowledgeable about internet marketing and advertising issues
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to work with little supervision in a fast paced, high-energy, environment
  • Ability to multi-task, working with multiple people while prioritizing tasks
