Aquent has been asked to help one of our large interactive agency clients to help find and hire a contract Information Architect.

Job Summary:
In this position you will work with a group of digital strategists, user experience designers, other IA’s and Visual designers to build out a new ecommerce site (from scratch!) for an popular retail company.

Responsibilities:
-Identify requirements for the new site that will ultimately produce both world-class user experiences and business value. -Create solutions that meet these needs: at all times focusing on user experience -Communicate solutions that meet these requirements using visually compelling artifacts. (maps, wireframes, matrices) -Create personas/segmentations based on research and user interviews -Create concept models of your solution’s design. These will include representations of the interactions, organizational structure, site maps, screen mock-ups, etc.

Qualifications:
-3 or more years of interactive or ecommerce industry experience paired with either 1.) a Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design or Human-Computer Interaction OR 2.) Years of experience in UX design or IA where you have created the artifacts listed above -Expertise in user-centered design methods and techniques. -Proficient in: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Visio, Microsoft Office.
