Job Summary:
A successful Associate Media Director candidate is a passionate and knowledgeable on various aspects of online media including but not limited to display media, paid search, SEO, mobile & social. The candidate has a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6-10 years of related media experience including 4-6 years of interactive experience (direct response, branding or both). The candidate needs to have outstanding written and spoken communication skills and strong negotiating and presentation skills. Prior experience managing a staff is required. A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of online metrics and strong analytical skills. Must also have understanding of interactive research & competitive intelligence tools such as Google Keyword Tool, Ad Relevance, @plan, Media Metrix, AdGooroo, Hitwise, etc.

Responsibilities:
Partner with Engagement Director and FRWD Partner to develop high-level business strategy for the client and the role of media in meeting & exceeding client’s goals. Lead development of innovative and thoughtful media plans based on strategic business direction and client’s business objectives. • Provide direction and leadership to media planners responsible for execution of the plans. Own, build and grow assigned businesses. Build and maintain client relationship. Manage a team of media staff by motivating, leading, mentoring and training. Handle issue resolution, recommend process improvements, and manage all financial media-related aspects of the account. Maintain vendor relationships and act as a resource for industry data and trends. Provide ongoing strategic vision for clients. Identify and refine process for FRWD Media team. Contribute to organizational operations beyond basic job requirements (e.g. methodology development, recruiting, process redesigns, tool improvements). Represent FRWD at industry events and be an active participant in the media community.
