As part of this team, one would collaborate closely with external service providers and internal work partners to create compelling, usable and innovative experiences.

Responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities include: • Responsible for actively participating in the planning, design, documentation and development of user interfaces and user experience concepts for products. • Take a key role in brainstorming sessions, work sessions with product managers and customers, usability and innovation reviews and other forums of design development. • Developing user flows/experience for product interfaces; Responsible for the look-and-feel, information flow, and visual design of client’s product. • Develop test plans, build prototypes, conduct tests, and analyze results.

Qualifications:
The IDEAL Candidate will have: • Minimum of 3 years experience working as a User Interface Designer or similar role • 4-year Bachelor degree in Industrial/ Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Anthropology and/or Cognitive Science Position or other job related degree from an accredited college or university. • Must be intimate with concept development, design and process methodology, scenario planning, user interface modeling, and information design. • Knowledge of user-centered design principles and product UI best practices/standards. • Knowledge of a breadth of qualitative and quantitative contextual- and lab-based research methods • Understanding of methods of developing and documenting use cases, task flows, screen and interaction design • Familiarity with information architecture and cognitive psychology principles • Practical knowledge of Visio, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Project • Sustained attention and innovation from concept to implementation • Ability to resolve and document detailed design and implementation issues • English proficiency required; Other languages a plus

Additional Information:
The position will either be located in the Silicon Valley area or in their Chicago, IL office Annual salary dependent on the candidate’s background and experience.
