Responsibilities:
SENIOR INTERACTION DESIGNER/UI DESIGNER Job Responsibilities includes: • Responsible for leading and actively participating in the concept, design, documentation and development of user interfaces for client’s products. • Champion your designs through development using research, strategic understanding, your experience and instinct • Lead brainstorming sessions, work sessions, usability and innovation reviews and other forums of design development. • Mentor other designers, bringing your personal strengths to the rest of the team • Developing user flows/experience for product interfaces; Responsible for the look-and-feel, information flow, and visual design of client’s product. • Develop test plans, build prototypes, conduct tests, and analyze results.

Qualifications:
The IDEAL Candidate will have: • Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior-level UI Design or similar role. • A 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Interaction Design, Information Architecture, Multimedia Design or other design field from an accredited college or university, plus a minimum of 4 years of design experience • Must be intimate with Information Architecture, experience concept development, user-centered design methodologies and design communication. • Knowledge of user-centered design principles and product UI best practices/standards. • Knowledge of a breadth of qualitative and quantitative contextual- and lab-based research methods • Ability to create appropriate concepts and persuasively present to a broad audience • Rapid visualization and problem solving skills • Experience developing and documenting use cases, task flows, screen and interaction design • Familiarity with information architecture and cognitive psychology principles • Practical knowledge of Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Project • Sustained attention and innovation from concept to implementation • Must be comfortable leading culture change in a technology-focused company and constantly evangelizing for consumers.

Additional Information:
The position will either be located in the Silicon Valley area or in their Chicago, IL office Annual salary dependent on the candidate’s background and experience.
