CIMA’s annual Star Awards honors those in our industry who have worked tirelessly to develop and enhance the interactive and digital business in Chicago. This year, we are excited to announce two new award categories – the “Digital Media Person of the Year” and a “Rising Star.”

Award winners will be announced and revealed at the November 10, 2011 CIMA Interactive Awards Ceremony. The winners will receive a complimentary CIMA membership along with recognition via CIMA’s social media channels, Web site and PR efforts.

2012 Digital Media Person of the Year
This award will honor one individual who has contributed to the evolution and growth of the Chicago digital marketplace. This will be someone who has made a major contribution to either an organization or the development of a team. Someone who has single-handedly changed the direction of a business, created an entirely new revenue stream or someone who is a strategic thinker, an innovative leader or a world-class client services master. 2012 Rising Star
This award will recognize an up-and-coming leader in the digital space.  This will be someone who has shown exceptional promise of leadership and contribution in digital marketing and at his/her company, while also demonstrating spectacular results in 2012.  Obtain additional details on award criteria and download the application form here. Applications are due September 12, 2012.
